Hi, I'm Debbie Leonard, CEO and Founder of Culture for Success, a company dedicated to helping businesses build winning cultures. A second-generation family business owner, and I have firsthand experience in turning around a dysfunctional culture and building a high-performing team.
I was raised alongside the family business. When I was tapped to run the business as senior family members retired, I faced the daunting task of managing in a highly competitive market with a disjointed company culture and a team threatened by my position. My immediate task was to ramp up my leadership education in order to mitigate the culture dysfunction ultimately building a focused leadership team. We became one cohesive, collaborative team and achieved success - doubling in size from 35 to 70 happier employees and growing sales by 300%.
