Meetings are on 1st and 3rd Wednesday mornings at 7:15 A.M. at The Children’s Hospital (470 and Lucent) at 1811 Plaza Dr., Highlands Ranch, CO.
in the Tennessee Room. About $7 for Continental Breakfast. Childrens hospital puts on a wonderful spread for us with pastries, scones, a huge fruit platter and 2 kinds of juices!!! We can change the menu if we like and will probably do from time to time. You should come visit us and have a warm scone.

Good for a make up or for our friends and acquaintances that would appreciate a Rotary Club with a morning meeting time.  If you plan to attend, please let Ann Mather at 303-570-9838 (Annmather@aol.com) or Linda Blackstone at 303-992-5625  know the day before.

The program on January 29 was Classification Talks by Britton Allison and Elizabeth Kringel.

Britton grew up in Parker and Fort Collins and after High School attended Metro State.  He decided to transfer to a small Bible College and completed a seminary program.  While there he met his wife Kerstin, got married, and completed his degree in Bible and ministry at a Christian college in Oklahoma.  Kerstin is a Cardiac nurse at PSL in Denver.  They had a goal to do international mission work and did short term missions in Africe, Peru, and Brazil.

Britton has worked at the University of Phoenix as an Enrollment Counselor and Senior Enrollment Manager.  While working for University of Phoenix he completed his MBA.  After returning to Colorado, he started work with Edward Jones as a financial advisor.  Britton and Kerstin have two children, Elijah and Matthias.

Elizabeth was born in St. Louis, after several moves settled in suburbs north of Chicago where she lived for 45 years.  Graduated from St Mary's College of Notre Dame with a major in art.  Initially worked in advertising, followed by teaching art.  Married, had children and settled into volunteering at school and church.  After a divorce in the early 80s she sold real estate.  Upon marrying her second husband Kris, who had two sons, along with her two sons moved to Durango where they lived a relaxed fun filled life upon Kris' retirement.
Horseback riding, golf, tennis, fishing and hunting were among the things Elizabeth, Kris and family enjoyed.

In 2012, because of Kris' declining health, they moved to Denver where two of their grown sons lived.  Settling in at Vi in Highlands Ranch where Kris could receive the care he needed for dimentia, Elizabeth met Sarah Harman and was introduced to our Rotary Club.  Elizabeth has found her nitch in helping with community service as the co-chair.
