PDG Mike Oldham was the Guest Speaker on October 2 and spoke about a Rotary project to provide solar lights for Respire Haiti.
Respire Haiti was created by Megan Boudreaux from a vision for orphans and children in Gressier, Haiti. It is estimated that more than 50% of the children (and orphans) in Gressier are not in school. Respire Haiti helping increase the number of restaveks, orphans and vulnerable children attending school.
Respire Haiti is located in Gressier, Haiti about 20 miles west of Port au Prince.
Lee Mulberry was inducted on October 2 by Bill Simmermon. Lee is a transfer from Denver Mile High Rotary and has been a Rotary member since 2008. At the Denver Mile High club, Lee was on the Board for five years and Secretary for 2 years, and Interact liaison. He is a Paul Harris Fellow. Lee is managing director for Stewart Cooper & Coon.

Interact would like to extend a big thank you for your support of our bike drive this past Saturday. I wish you could have seen the kids cheer as each car pulled up to drop off bikes. Your help in "getting the word out" was greatly appreciated. The kids proudly counted each bike as it arrived for a grand total of 106 bikes!!! The other photos are also from Saturday. Students and sponsor Mary DeBolt started their day at 7:00am at the Remembrance Walk for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep inflating balloons for their balloon release honoring the babies they'd lost. They proceeded directly to Clare Bridge for their Halloween visit with residents. We then went directly to the school for our noon to 5pm bike drive. The kids LOVED their day of fresh air, friendship and service. As always, Interact greatly appreciates the support that you offer our club. Karla Olson
