David Harriman and Bob Walsh gave their Classification Talks on August 28.
Having been born and raised in southern California, and not wanting to continue that bad habit, the Harriman's decided that the Denver area would make a great place to call home. David and his wife Kristina own a home in Lone Tree less than a mile from where Rotary meets every week. David is a property and casualty insurance broker for BMR Insurance Agency, and services clients throughout Colorado and California. With his time off, you’ll can either find David running the saws in the garage while making furniture; or find him and his wife traveling throughout the beautiful state of Colorado taking landscape and wildlife pictures.
Bob Walsh gave his Classification Talk and was welcomed as our newest member on the same day. Bob is our current Assistant Governor and was a member of the Denver Mile High Club. He has served as the D5450 Membership Chair and is a past president of Denver Mile High. His sponsor is Ray Anderson.
Dear Rotary Friends,
This is what the Mountain Ridge Middle School has been up to this month. This month we had a Root Beer Float Social and all of our proceeds went to the Make-a-Wish
Foundation. With your generous matching, we were able to donate nearly $800. As always we thank you for your support.

“Tolerance is such an important life lesson
that the chickens have shared with our family.
Not everyone is going to like you,
nor are you going to like them.
However, it is important to always be
courteous, respectful, and kind.
You don’t have to be friends.
You don’t have to hang out.
But you should always lead by example.
It’s a great big world out there
and the flock of humanity is grandiose in size.”
