In addition to her amazing accomplishments as our Social Chairperson, Nancy Barton hosted the end of the year Board Meeting at her lovely home!
Dave Johnson (above) gave his “Getting to Know You” talk and told us that he is the co-founder and managing partner of C Squared Solutions. Dave's industry experience includes software, manufacturing, engineering, construction, renewable energy, professional services and non-profit organizations. Dave's hobbies include biking, skiing, golf, community service and teaching at the university level. Welcome Dave!

The Noon Club also heard from Peter and John who have created an app to share food. The HungreeApp is the only zero-waste solution allowing you to safely find food nearby or list food, as a restaurant/food business or an individual. (Visit www.thehungreeapp.com)
It provides for safe distribution of FREE food and meals in a simple, sleek, and streamlined platform. The platform helps users (individuals, restaurants, cafeterias, sporting arenas, etc.) Find food. Ditch waste. Create community!
For example, a restaurant can elect to be a Certified Hungree Provider, easily listing their excess food items, as they play their part in helping to address food security issues that affect our global population. As an individual, you can join/list meals to a Hungree "village" (a group of private individuals) like your housing community or your friends and family. Check it out on YouTube:

Joel Johnson (seen above in chef & check modes), gave a report on the Sunrise Club's accomplishments this past year. Some highlights were the electric appliance recycling event, Brent's Place breakfasts and membership growth. (BTW could it be that Shrin is actually Waldo? We spot him everywhere!)

Fly'n B at Wind Crest
Also at the picnic, Wyn Pendleton gave a synopsis of the Fly'n B's accomplishments for this past year. Some highlights included the pillows for Children's Hospital, the blood drives, and solar panels for Ukraine. Average age for Fly'n B members, he said, 85!
