FRIENDSHIP DINNERS SCHEDULED FOR MAY!
WE NEED HOSTS!!
Members had so much fun at the winter friendship dinners that we're scheduling another round in May. We're looking for hosts. Already signed up are Connie Golas and Michelle McRae, so we'll need 2 more hosts to get this great event up and running. Your party can be as simple or elaborate as you want. Think back to some of the fun dinners you've attended in the past, BBQ, hors d'oeuvres, international themed, etc. And remember, everyone brings something so it's not too much work for the host. So please consider hosting. Go ahead, make the commitment and make the call to Sue Bramley - sueannebramley@yahoo.com or 303.683.6647!
It could be as simple as a Mexican buffet
Or as fancy as a mood lit sit-down dinner
ROTARY AND HR GARDEN CLUB NEED YOUR HELP WITH HIGH SCHOOL OUTDOOR CLASSROOM PROJECT
HR High School has asked Rotary and the Garden Club to help them plan an outdoor classroom. They reached out to Jim Bramley when he was Garden Club president. He then brought the idea to Rotary, who has agreed to donate $1,000 towards the development.
The teacher in charge of the project is planning a work day of students, parents and sponsors, of which Rotary is one. Please plan to come and help start building planters, planting plants and trees and general landscaping of this great project. You'll be an integral part of joint community effort. Jim will send around a sign up sheet at Thursday's meeting.
