DID YOU MISS LAST WEEK'S MEETING?  HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED
DENVER DA MITCH MORRISSEY

Jerry & Jan were able to get Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey to present a  picture of domestic abuse in the city.  He discussed the Rose Andom Center, Denver’s first location to support domestic survivors by housing numerous services and agencies under the same roof, will mean many things to many people.Hosting two dozen social and human service agencies in addition to safe spaces for children and family members, the center had its grand opening Tuesday and is a vital addition to the community.  To read more : http://roseandomcenter.org/news-blog/

CAROL BRONDSON BECAME A NEW MEMBER!

New member applicant, Carol Brondson was initiated into the club, congratulations!  She was fast tracked, because as soon as she had applied, her husband was transferred and they're moving to Monroe, LA :-<    Carol wanted to be an inducted member before the move and the club obliged.  Now she can move on to a new club in her new town. A loss for us, but a gain for Rotary!  We wish her the best of luck!

NEW IDEA FROM THE GALA COMMITTEE!
Did you get a nice gift this holiday season that just doesn't work for you? Rather than stuffing it in the back of your closet or shipping it off to Good Will, consider this new concept created by the Gala Committee...donate it to next year's Gala! Think how accomplished you'll feel if you've started your Gala donations in January!
