Meetings are on 1st and 3rd Wednesday mornings at 7:15 A.M. at The Children’s Hospital (470 and Lucent) at 1811 Plaza Dr., Highlands Ranch, CO.
in the Tennessee Room. About $7 for Continental Breakfast. Childrens hospital puts on a wonderful spread for us with pastries, scones, a huge fruit platter and 2 kinds of juices!!! We can change the menu if we like and will probably do from time to time. You should come visit us and have a warm scone.

Good for a make up or for our friends and acquaintances that would appreciate a Rotary Club with a morning meeting time.  If you plan to attend, please let Ann Mather at 303-570-9838 (Annmather@aol.com) or Linda Blackstone at 303-992-5625  know the day before.

Iris Price and Lee Mulberry gave Classifications Talks at the April 2 meeting.

Iris Price
Iris grew up in Columbia, Missouri and graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in secondary education majoring in English.  After that, she began her teaching career at South High School in Denver, where she met and married her husband Gary, who passed away 6 years ago.  She has 2 children and 5 grandchildren.
Iris received a Masters Degree from the University of Northern Colorado and finished her career as a reading specialist at Arapahoe High School in Littleton where she taught for 19 years before retiring in 2000.  She now lives in Lone Tree and is looking forward to becoming involved through the Rotary Club in not only educational endeavors but also in other volunteer projects.

Lee Mulberry
"Born and raised in Ohio in family of 7 children.  I was heavily involved in sports in high school and went to Ohio University on a track scholarship.  I met my wife Karen during our freshmen year and we were married during our junior year.  We have been together since and have 2 sons, 2 daughters-in-law and 4 grandchildren.

After graduation from college I joined a company in their management training program, they moved us around the country every 9 months to 2 years.  We ended up in Denver in the mid 1980’s.  While we lived in California I got my MBA from Pepperdine University and moved to the telecom industry.  I worked for AT&T, Alcatel and Reliance Comm Tec.  I spent 4 years with IBM Global Services as a Principal in the Telecom consulting group.  I have been in consulting and educational software sales for the past 5 years.

I joined Denver Mile High Rotary 8 years ago, I spent 5 years on the board of directors, 3 years on the Foundation board and 2 years as Secretary.  I was voted Rotarian of the Year for 2012-2013.
I chaired the largest fundraiser for 3 years.

I got involved with Interact 4 years ago when I helped start a club at CEC/Middle College of Denver, a high school at 26th and Federal.  I thoroughly enjoy working with youth and helping them grow and mature.  I also work with the Peaceful Schools Program.

I am on the board of directors for the Carson J. Spencer Foundation.

I joined Highlands Ranch in November because of its vibrancy and relevancy.  I enjoy being around people that not only accomplish great things but have fun doing it."
Hello Rotary Friends,

Thank you so much for your continuing support and guidance of our Interact Club here at Mountain Vista High School. We would not have been able to accomplish all that we have without it!

These are the events we were involved with for the month of March 2015:

March 5, Peaceful Schools Visit- we read to 1st graders at Summit View Elementary and taught them about acceptance and respect

March 14, Bessie's Hope Visit- we made St.Patrick's Day themed crafts and played games with patients at Clare Bridge Alzheimer's/Dementia Care Center

March 15- we helped pack and move boxes for a woman living in the area that is moving to a senior home

Thanks again for your overwhelming support of our club!

MVHS Interact Secretary,
Hannah Murphy
