DID YOU MISS LAST WEEK'S MEETING?  HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED

RYLA PARTICIPANTS DISCUSSED THEIR EXPERIENCES
Hats off to our RYLA volunteers who made RYLA 2016 memorable for so many students!  Marion Trummer, Jan & Tom Keyton and Michelle McRae were just some of the people teaching leadership skills to several hundred students in July. The experience of being at the YMCA of the Rockies or in Larkspur (Young RYLA) and the wonderful leadership activities that are learned can really make a difference in a child's life.

A few participants visited our club last week to discuss what they learned!
Michelle McRae enjoyed blindfolding the students.  Was this a calming activity?
This looks like the scariest exercise ever

EAT A PEACH, Allman Brothers Blues Band, 1972

It’s time to CELEBRATE 100 years of Doing Good in the World!

In 2016-17, our Rotary Foundation turns 100. That’s one century of Rotarians improving lives and communities all over the world. And that’s definitely something worth celebrating.

Our Foundation stands at the forefront of humanitarian service, having supported thousands of projects to provide clean water, fight disease, promote peace, and provide people with basic education — and one historic project dedicated to eradicating polio worldwide.
