Satellite Club of Highlands Ranch Rotary
Meetings are on 1st and 3rd Wednesday mornings at 7:15 A.M. at The Children’s Hospital (470 and Lucent) at 1811 Plaza Dr., Highlands Ranch, CO.
in the Tennessee Room. About $7 for Continental Breakfast. Childrens hospital puts on a wonderful spread for us with pastries, scones, a huge fruit platter and 2 kinds of juices!!! We can change the menu if we like and will probably do from time to time. You should come visit us and have a warm scone.

At the December 11th Rotary luncheon the club recognized Kaitlin Zenoni as an outstanding student. Kaitlin’s parents, Ian and Lisa Zenoni, accompanied her. An interesting fact regarding Kaitlin is she is a triplet with two brothers, Ryan and Andrew. Kaitlin is a senior at Mountain Vista High School. She has a 4.2 GPA and has challenged herself with numerous advanced placement courses. Kaitlin was recommended by the English and Language Arts department. She is the co-editor of VISTAJ Student Media. This a journalism program that is responsible for broadcasting, print, yearbook and an online web site. Kaitlin is active in the National Honor Society and has played club and high school soccer for several years. Kaitlin shared her experience of volunteering with Unified Basketball and attending Camp Barnabas. Here she supported and encouraged youth and young adults that experience special disabilities. Kaitlin intends to study engineering when she goes to college.
On Friday, December. 19, the Rotary Club of Five Points will host their 4th annual fundraiser for End Polio Now, Rotary International's campaign to eradicate polio from the last 1% of the population. Roller skate or blade at the Rolling for Rotary: Ugly Sweater Rollerskating Party from 6-9pm at EXDO Event Center, 1399 35th St. 80205. The event is 21+ and pre-sale tickets are $15, which includes free roller skate rental. Enjoy food & drinks, a silent auction, music, and a lounge area for skaters AND non-skaters. Barbe Ratcliffe and Jenny Fortenberry presented an informative program on the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. OLLI is a membership program designed for men and women age 50 and over, who wish to pursue lifelong learning in a relaxed non-competitive atmosphere.
