Changing of the Guard
Before handing the baton over to Tamie, John shared his final words after a challenging year. He also noted significant Club members including gifts to be picked up after Thursday's meeting on the 16th in the Lonetree parking lot.
Congratulations Rotarian of the Year, Shrin Murthy
Tamie launched her 2020-2021 Rotary year with this year's theme,Rotary Opens Opportunities, chosen by our new RI President, Holger Knaack. Tamie commended many members including those changing leadership roles and welcoming the new. Bob Kemp is the new District Governor along with Gail Lehrmann, Assistant Governor for Area 4.Guy Caves replaces Shrin as Club Treasurer; Elaine Calderbank replaces Mary Kay as Membership Chair; Kari Brown replaces Fred Erb as ClubRunner Administrator; and, Phil replaces Herb as Club Secretary. Outgoing Board Directors, Sue Bramley and Phil are replaced by Elizabeth Scofield, Nancy Arkins, and Bill Leeper. Gary Dani, Club Historian; Patricia Sznip replaces Bill Simmermon as Chair to the International Committee, and Carolyn Bradish and Marsha Hutfliess join Elizabeth on the Community Service Committee.
