Meetings are on 1st and 3rd Wednesday mornings at 7:15 A.M. at The Children’s Hospital (470 and Lucent) at 1811 Plaza Dr., Highlands Ranch, CO.
in the Tennessee Room. About $7 for Continental Breakfast. Childrens hospital puts on a wonderful spread for us with pastries, scones, a huge fruit platter and 2 kinds of juices!!! We can change the menu if we like and will probably do from time to time. You should come visit us and have a warm scone.

Good for a make up or for our friends and acquaintances that would appreciate a Rotary Club with a morning meeting time.  If you plan to attend, please let Ann Mather at 303-570-9838 (Annmather@aol.com) or Linda Blackstone at 303-992-5625  know the day before.

Logan Schurr
Logan Schurr did an outstanding job of telling our members about Colorado Thespian Festival and how she went on to the National Thespian Festival.  Logan is a senior at Rock Canyon High School.  She is wonderful actress and singer.  She has enjoyed her drama studies at the high school taking on major performance roles.  She currently has the lead in the production of “Guys and Dolls”.  Logan is a leader as well.  She is the president of the Tri-M, the music honor society.  Logan traveled to Eastern Europe last year with other students, visiting Berlin and Prague.  She applying to several universities with the intention of auditioning for music and theatre.  It was a pleasure to recognize Logan as an Outstanding Student”.
Spencer Pozder
Spencer Pozder, a senior at Mountain Vista High School, was recognized last Thursday as an Outstanding Student.  He was joined by his parents, Steven and Susan Pozder.  Spencer is a well-rounded student who excels in academics.  Spencer is rank #3 in his class of 500 students.   His classes included advanced placement courses in most subjects.  His AP Chemistry teach , Justin Villard stated “Spencer is a student more focused on learning than just earning the points needed for an “A” grade”.   Spencer spoke to the members about his recent participation in the Colorado State TSA meet which focus on students interested in technology.  Their team finished at the top in four categories and will be competing in the National competition.  Spencer intends to study Mechanical Engineering.  He has applied to several universities including our local Colorado School of Mines.
