Hello Rotary Friends,
Thank you so much for your immense support and guidance of our Interact Club here at Mountain Vista High School throughout this year. We are so proud of all we have been able to accomplish and none of it would be possible without you all!
These are the events we were involved with for the month of May 2015:
May 4, Peaceful Schools Visit- we read to 1st graders at Summit View Elementary and, with the help of Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul, and Mary, brought the lesson of acceptance to the whole school in an assembly
May 16, Bessie's Hope Visit- we celebrated Spring with Alzheimer's patients by decorating pots, planting flowers, and singing songs
May 21, Project C.U.R.E: we helped Rotarians sort medical supplies at the international headquarters of this amazing organization
Thank you again for all your overwhelming support of our club, we look forward to another amazing and successful year!
MVHS Interact Secretary,
Hannah Murphy
Hello Rotary Friends,
This is what Mountain Ridge Middle School Interact club has done this month. During the month of April we went to the Bessie's Hope visit. Then we helped out with our schools symposium. During the symposium we sold concessions while the 7th graders presented their ideas in different classrooms. We raised $150 which we are donating to helping children in Nepal. Thank you so much for letting us be a part of such an amazing club. As always thank you for your support.
