WE SEND OFF BERIT TO SWITZERLAND - MOM MAREN IN TEARS!
We all know Berit, Maren Erickson's delightful daughter. This young woman should be a club honorary Rotarian, as she participates in so many activities with her proud mama! All that Rotary work has paid off big time for her as we send her off for a year in Switzerland, courtesy of the club's Rotary Youth Exchange. She talked about what she'll do there at last week's meeting. And she's taken it one step further, allowing us all to see her in action - Swiss style - in the blog she's set up. So keep up with Berit by visiting:
RYLA - a big program that's a big deal for our club! We raise funds for it, we donate time to it, we send counselors, we hear stories, we meet amazing kids! So what's it all about? You'll hear on Thursday as we launch into a new season!
INSPIRATION: Heather Dawson
50/50 WINNER: Neil DeLorenzo

WESTERN WELCOME WEEK BEER BOOTH TIME
It's time for Western Welcome Week and our annual fundraiser - the BEER BOOTH! Scott Davenport and Steve Miller are in charge of the sign up sheet, so join the 'in crowd' and plan to sell at the beer booth bright and early on Saturday, August 19! There are 3 slots to choose from which you'll see on the sign up sheet. The booth is located at Main & Curtis in downtown Littleton.
IF PEACHES ARE ENOUGH IN THEIR OWN RIGHT, THERE IS A TROPHY INVOLVED!
The competition for the highest peach seller is ramping up! If you recall, Elizabeth Kringel was last year's big winner with 21 boxes. She sneaked past the previous year's winner, Judy Rooney who had 18 and Ray Anderson came in neck in neck with 16. As you see, lots of hands want to get in on the trophy, so in order to even be considered in the upper echelon, you've gotta start selling!
I'm offering to pick up & deliver boxes for my people, along with recipes! What's your selling trick?
