Hello Rotary Friends, Thank you so much for your continuing support and guidance of our Interact Club here at Mountain Vista High School. We are so proud of all we have been able to accomplish this year, and none of it would be possible without you all!
These are the events we were involved with for the month of April 2015: April 2, Peaceful Schools Visit- we read to 2nd graders at Summit View Elementary and taught them how to resolve conflict creatively April 4, Bessie's Hope Visit- we celebrated Easter with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients and dyed Easter eggs April 4, Earth Day Trash Pick-Up: we collected trash from around our high school and middle school campus to celebrate Earth Day April 17, Mountain Ridge Symposium: we sold refreshments to parents and students at an annual school function to raise money for the Make A Wish Foundation
Thank you again for all your overwhelming support of our club! MVHS Interact Secretary, Hannah Murphy

The Highlands Ranch Rotary Club Morning Group will be participating in the annual Subaru Elephant Rock Cycling Event in Castle Rock. Sunday, June 7. This event draws up to 6000 cyclists and offers a variety of courses from friendly family routes to more challenging 100 mile courses.
The Morning Rotary Club acts as "marshals" along the route. In this capacity, the members are posted at various locations and support the riders by ringing cowbells, shouting encouragement and providing directions. 30 to 32 Rotarians are needed to man the support stations (2 Rotarians per station)/ This in an incredibly popular event that supports non-profits like the Interfaith Task Force Community. More information on this ride can be found at www.elephantrockride.com.
If you can help the Rotary Morning Group by helping in this event, please contact their Chairperson, Ann Mather, at Annmather@aol.com or Steve Miller, President of the Highlands Ranch Noon Club. Your support is needed to make this event successful. You will enjoy a beautiful morning in Castle Rock, a fun experience and an opportunity to help our community. Please sign up by Friday, May 15.
