On July 16 we had a continuation of the Club Assembly with members talking about the Treasurer, Secretary, and RYLA interest areas.  President Tom followed by talking about the 2015 RI Theme and some of his background.  Tom joined the Highlands Ranch club on February 23, 2012 and is a former Rotary member of the Gunnison Colorado Rotary Club.  He is a Senior VP with Northstar Bank of Colorado.

RI President K.R. Ravindran chose Be a Gift to the World as his theme for 2015-16. Ravindran urges Rotary members to give the gifts of time, talent, and knowledge to improve lives in communities across the globe. "Through Rotary, we can take these gifts and make a genuine difference in the lives of others and in our world."
“Whatever Rotary may mean to us, to the world it will be known by the results it achieves.”
—Paul P. Harris
Our 1.2 million-member organization started with the vision of one man—Paul P. Harris. The Chicago attorney formed one of the world’s first service organizations, the Rotary Club of Chicago, on 23 February 1905 as a place where professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships. Rotary’s name came from the group’s early practice of rotating meetings among the offices of each member.
