Dear Friends,
Instead of the regular Wheel Spinner (for today), we are sending a few quick notes for your planning calendars.
We will ensure we include details from Sunrise Club (who met on the 18th) and Flyin' B in our next edition. The holiday hustle has us dashing through the end of the holidays when guests leave and the trees start coming down.
Thus, a few notes for this evening:
- Elaine asked us to remind you that the Membership Committee will meet tomorrow morning at 11:00 at the LT Golf Club before lunch. All are welcome and new members are certainly invited to sit in if you have the time. Membership is our lifeline and our legacy, so this committee's work is vital for our continued longevity as a successful club.
- Connie and Phil wanted us to let you know that the International Service Committee has moved the meeting time on the 9th to 1:30.
- For those participating in the Solar Panel Project for Ukraine, a reminder that our January 11th event at Mountain Vista is coming soon. Details will follow for your planning.
- We do have some notes to share from Sunrise and Flying B' which will be in the full edition to follow.
Please remember that tomorrow is a fun-filled White Elephant gift exchange. If you would like to participate, please bring a wrapped gift with no tag or name on it.
Also, we ask that you be cautious with many "bugs" going around. We mention this only because Kim will not be there tomorrow because a bug has landed in our house and I do not want to take a chance. If anyone has notes or announcements that need to be included in the next Wheel Spinner, please email me.
We continue to send our very best to Mary Kay on the passing of Earl Hasz, her beloved husband. Earl was a wonderful man, known to many of us in Rotary District 5450 with Mary Kay for their leadership for nearly 36 years. He will be missed by many in Rotary.
It is truly admirable what our organization has been able to do for our community and communities abroad over the years. Your participation has made a global impact improving the lives of many. So to all our members, we'd like to say:
