We Don't Waste

Tere Cone has brought We Don't Waste to the attention of the Community Service Committee.  Their mission is to collect quality, unused food from the food industry and deliver it to their nonprofit partners.

This is her intro:  We Don't Waste is a food rescue nonprofit in Denver, CO, whose mission is to recover food that would have been wasted and then distribute this food for people to eat for free. Julia Lennon is the Programs & Education Manager and has been with We Don't Waste for almost three years now, she is passionate about protecting our planet and not letting good food go to waste!
