Elephant Rock Bicycle Event - Paul Campbell
Save the date, Sunday June 6th for the return of the Elephant Rock Bicycle event in Douglas County. This has been a Satellite Club fundraiser for many years and we heartily thank all of the noon club members for your participation in the past, and we look forward to your help again this year. For those of you unfamiliar with Elephant Rock, the event consists of four different bicycle courses in and around Douglas County starting at the DC Fairgrounds. We provide marshaling and encouragement to the riders as they wend their way on the course they have chosen, ringing bells and providing a fun atmosphere, as well as being there for them in case of equipment failure or fatigue. The stations we marshal typically require about a 3 hour commitment on a beautiful June Sunday morning. Plan to come and bring a spouse or friend because it's more fun to work in pairs or a family unit. If you have questions, please contact me, Paul Campbell, at paulcamp64@gmail.com.
Youth exchange program suspended and RYLA will be virtual this Rotary year.
May 8th and the recycling event seems a long way off but the planning needs to happen now. Marty Genereux needs approximately 60 volunteers for 2 shifts for the 9am - 2pm event.
In an effort to minimize traffic, the event will no longer accept scrap metal; see the updated flyer on FB or our website.
Please call or email Marty to volunteer, 303-798-9036 or MGenereux317@gmail.com with your name, phone, and email.

Please join theHighlands Ranch Rotary Sunrise Clubfor our regular meetings. We are currently meeting virtually and hope to return to Children’s Hospital in Highlands Ranch soon. We are still a very active club, have regular speakers, participate in “safe” service volunteer opportunities, and strive to make a difference in the community. And we have fun at the same time!
Zoom call meetings are the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from 7:15 – 8:30 am. Please contact either Gary Smith (303-522-3355) or Elena Cumberbatch-Lynch (303-875-3418) for the Zoom meeting link. This is a great opportunity for a make-up meeting or for potential members that cannot easily attend noon meetings. We look forward to seeing you and welcome any guests that would like to join us!
