Weekly Newsletter from December 12, 2024

Christmas and Hanukkah both fall on the 24th of December this year. Will we see snow? Probably not, but it's coming fast, isn't it?

Meeting Notes from the (Noon Meeting) & Announcements

MEETING NOTES FROM LUNCH AND ANNOUNCEMENTS:

This is a brief Wheel Spinner because Kim was out with a cold last week and not at the meeting. Thanks to Kristy for notes.

Our greeter was Mary Kay Hasz and our inspiration and pledge were offered by Shara Hubert

I do not have any noted guests from last week but we do have two new Rotarians in our club! Welcome to Joe Musco and Judy Carlson.

We were joined by our student of the week and I will get notes about the student to share in a future WS.

Our program last week was an excellent presentation from Barb Kamlet from Shimmering Wings Camp Erin. It is a camp for people in all phases of grief and it focuses on kids. There were heart-wrenching stories and information about how to support the Camp. Please visit their Facebook page for additional information.

Family of Rotary:

Once again, we were saddened to hear of a loss to our club. Tim Sparks passed away. Details for his celebration of life or memorial details will follow when they are available.

Bob Larson is recovering and we hope to see him soon.

Please keep these people in your thoughts and check on them or their spouse/partner during these holiday weeks. Every thought matters and no good dead is too small, friends.
