ELDERLY BROS!
HRRC's own Phil Clark and renowned guitarist Joe Fluken will appear in a sold-out show at noon. Tour manager Sue Bramley, Inc. - a division of Low Bid Enterprises - has managed to carve some time out of their jam-packed travel calendar for a quick visit to Rotary. Clark, a regular in the noted local band Bernie & the Boomers, has partnered up with Fluken, a Sunday morning favorite at Jane Kucharski's church. Being Rotary's social chairman extraordinaire, Jane always has her finger on the hottest tickets in town! Check back here for tour announcements, concert schedules, locations & venues for the fabulous ELDERLY BROTHERS! See ya Thursday!
LAST WEEK:Julia Lennon, We Don't Waste
Terre introduced Julia and Alan Babcock who shared valuable information regarding their non-profit food recovery. Who knew it takes 25 years for a head of lettuce to decompose in a land fill? For more information about this middleman between those who have too much and those who don't have enough see www.wedon'twaste.org.
When Terre supports something, she goes all the way!
We welcomed Mike Dineen, Rotary Club of Denver and Field Director Denver Area Boy Scouts and Alex Wharry from the Boy Scouts.
We were all happy to see Carolyn in person, welcome back!!
