Tamie shared the video, "What is Rotary" emphasizing where simple thoughts can become huge and life-changing. 

She also shared the Rotary Youth Protection Guide, a statement of conduct when working with youth and mandatory district training.

 

Connie Dix was inducted and received her blue badge. Joan Dameron also received her blue badge after her classification talk. Congratulations to both!

 

Our thoughts and best wishes to Bob Martin and Connie Dix during their surgeries this week.

 

Jane has received 14 requests for the 20 seats temporarily held for Littleton Town Hall Theatre "Almost Heaven" Sept 14th ($45). They are still waiting for clearance from Arapahoe County. Questions call Jane 303-257-4657.

 

ROTARIANS AT WORK - Sue Bramley

Ten Rotarians gathered together at Northridge Park Monday to assist Metro District's nurserymen in planting trees.  It was initially planned to be held on Arbor Day, April 30, but postponed.  April would have been lovely, as our sturdy Rotarians labored in 90+ degree weather! The arborists were generous with their knowledge as they answered many of our questions. It was like a complementary class in tree planting!  What a great group for us to partner with next April.  And the 10 of us share the bond of watching the trees we planted grow and thrive!
