Announcements
Thank you to Gary Dani for this tribute to Fred Warnaars:
Fred Warnaars Rest in Peace
1935 - 2022
Fred has been a Highlands Ranch Rotarian for the past 30 years. For the past 3 years he was not active due to Covid and illness.
Fred was born in the Netherlands and had a doctorate degree in geology. He worked world-wide researching rare earth minerals in very remote places.
Fred was involved in almost every activity the Club had: he was our Club's first historian for about 12 years, and he was very active in Interfaith food bank (IFCS) as a past board member and our Club's connection to IFCS. His dedication to IFCS was a result of his time spent in a Nazi concentration camp from the age of 5 to 9 years old.
Fred loved his tennis. He often hosted tennis socials for the Club at Coventry where he would party at his house after tennis.
It is sad to see Fred leave us. He loved his Rotary Club.
