LAST WEEK: Bill Bottoms, Project Angel Heart
Sue introduced Bill who shared how Project Angel Heart began in 1991 and how over the years they now prepare 12-15,000 homemade, medically tailored meals weekly in ~1700 bags of prepared, delivered food. This would not be possible without the help of their >8000 active volunteers, donations, grants and support from food banks, We Don't Waste, and local groceries. For more information see, www.projectangelheart.org.
We welcomed Shannon O'Brien, visiting Texas Rotarian now moving to Colorado and Nita Sosebee and Linda & Alan Watchorn who learned about Rotary at the recycle event!
