Eagle Academy is one of four alternative schools in our district allowing kids 16 to 20 years to learn at their own pace promoting their success. 135 kids attend Eagle with 27 staff and 15 students per class. Andrew's goal is to understand each student's path and provide the right opportunities for success. Andrew provided handouts on all tables describing more about Eagle Academy. MVHS Interact Club Update - Grace Roscoe
Hello Rotary Friends,
I hope you are all doing well. As the final months of school end, MVHS Interact Club has been busy and filled with many incredible activities. In April, we completed many activities to finish the year. We hosted our final visit of the year to our local Senior Living Center, Brookdale, completing spring crafts, coloring sheets, spring-themed bingo games, and coloring sheets. We also hosted three grades of Peaceful Schools, visited classrooms at a local elementary school, read books, and learned essential themes and lessons. In addition, we braved the cold weather and hosted an IFCS drive. We asked for donations from local grocery shoppers to donate food/hygiene items. We also hosted an annual Earth Day Campus clean up, cleaning up both the high school and middle school campuses. Lastly, we finished our last event for the year, heading to Project Cure to help organize medical supplies.
We have had so much fun this past year, completing so many amazing events. It has added so many incredible events and are always looking for more ways to give back in the upcoming school year. We would not be able to do everything we do without Rotary's support. The MVHS Interact Club enjoys being able to interact with our community and provide a few smiles to others' faces. We appreciate it, and thank you for your continuous support!
