LAST WEEK: Kent Husa from I Can Bike! (This meeting was not recorded.)
We all enjoyed Kent's presentation of the international program, I Can Bike, and his local version, Cycle Movement, teaching special needs individuals (8 to 80+ years) how to ride an adapted bicycle. After a week at camp, 80-90% able to ride independently at least 75 feet. Besides a local location to run his camp he needs volunteers and donations. From our Foundation, Debby Doig presented him with a $5000 check. For more information, www.icanbike.org, https://cyclemovement.bike,
Kent.E.Husa@gmail.com or 303-912-4190.
We welcomed Jim and Sue's daughter, Meagan, a second visit from Laura Schultz, and our newest member Phil Horning. It was great to see Connie Dix looking well and in person.
Congratulations and thank you to Phil Clarke for his great insight in his recent Post article. Please see my email, 3/18, for a copy of the article.
