For those wishing to support this effort, a committed benefactor has come forward who is matching on-line gifts (up to $20,0000). Your contribution, whether small or large, will make an important difference. See Tamie's email from Jan 17th for Zoom link.
For those who are interested in resuming making no-sew blankets for distribution at Children's Hospital we will be collecting them during the meeting on Feb 16th.
NETWORKING EVENT COMING - Sue Bramley We have a new, exciting event in the making, The Club Networking Event! What’s that, you say? If you have a business, you’d like to promote to club members, this is your chance. All participants will have a tabletop display at our weekly meeting on Mar 9th. Members will circulate around the room, talking with you one on one, giving you a chance to meet & amp; greet and explain exactly what you do. It will be a great chance for you to ‘talk business’! This wonderful idea came about as the bylaws committee put together the updated document. Paul Harris’ initial idea for Rotary was actually a networking event with community service coming as a secondary concept. In creating this, we’re right in line with our founder’s goals. And we will start doing this twice a year. For further information, please contact the bylaw’s chairman, Phil Calderbank. If you’re interested in hosting a booth on March 9, please contact suebramley.18@gmail.com or call her at 303.886.3630 to register.
In an effort to shine the light on what the RCHR is doing both internally and externally the PR Committee is asking all committees to capture an 8 second (more or less) video of their activities and/or contributions. Please send those videos to Phil Clarke, philipbclarke@gmail.com.
