LAST WEEK:Bob Martin our new President
At 81 and a half Bob is our oldest President and we are honored to have him as President again. He was first President of our Club in 2008 when his then wife, Sue Fox, was the President of the Denver Rotary. They were featured in the Rotary Magazine as the first husband and wife to be simultaneous Presidents. Bob shared his life story beginning in Ohio and enrolling in CU to begin his life in Colorado. Bob is a colorful storyteller when describing his life and its many adventures including the Army Reserves, a brief stint in the Peace Corp, working in the electronics business and ultimately State Farm Insurance, and his introduction into Rotary and the 27 years that follow. Bob shares many attributes with our new RI President including his dedication to mental health, member engagement ("know who we are and have fun"), and to create a sense of belonging. We look forward to this Rotary year.
We welcomed Joel Johnson from Sunrise; monthly, a member from Sunrise will join our meetings. We are also welcome to join Sunrise the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, 7:15 - 8:30am, at Eastridge Rec Center.
The Sponsorship Campaign will run from Jul 6th to Aug 31st with this year's goal of $125,000.

RYLA was so much fun. The entire week was just a blast & I wish I could have stayed another week. The people I met and the skills I learned will forever be with me. Everyone was so kind and fun. All the fun activities and games really helped build the connections in my Team. The sunrise hike was one of my favorite things and overall just allowed me to reflect. Thank you for sponsoring me to go, it was a life changing experience. I’m definitely going to apply to be a JC next year so I can allow other people to have the same amazing experience that I had. - Chris

culminating in the parade on Aug 19th. The monies from the beer booth go to our Club budget to help defray the cost of our quarterly dues. The WWW beer booth and peach/pear delivery fall on the same day; consider volunteering for the booth in the morning and peaches in the afternoon. Signup sheet for the Beer Booth circulated.
From the Selinfreund's: Since the inception of the Bright Futures fund-raising event, Gloria Dierks of Dierks Design has graciously donated a beautiful serving bowl. This year is no different. Here is a picture of the bowl she is donating. Jerry and I will bring it to Rotary this Thursday 7/20 for you to auction off, if time in the meeting permits.
