LAST WEEK: Elya and Alan's Classification Talks
We all enjoyed Elya's interesting journey to being a CPA in Colorado including her couture online pet clothes.
Alan shared his fascinating story including Rotary and moving to Colorado.
We are honored to welcome Elya and Alan as our newest members.
We welcomed Elya's husband, Eric, and prospective new member, Jim Murdock.
Claudia provided an update on the Safe2Tell wristbands.
"We put out our Rotary banner at Shea Stadium during the Highlands Ranch HS football game Friday night and distributed a boxful of wristbands to students who were very grateful. Many of them put them on right away, in spite of the color. Elena Cumberbatch and Marty Genereux from the Sunrise Club joined Guy and me, as they will be at Shea Stadium next week for the Thunder Ridge HS game. Kelsey Lyons, District Interact Chair, brought her two adorable daughters, Scarlet and Elaine, who turned out to be our biggest draw. They handed out more wristbands than any of us. We also collected $6 in donations! We might consider putting out a donations jar at future events."
Bob Larson had another successful auction for our Foundation, whiskey this time.
Congratulations Guy!

Themed tables will be the Oct 21st meeting. Sue Bramley provides a description.
"BE A PART OF THEMED TABLE DAY
On October 21, we're changing things up a bit with Themed Tables Day. This is your chance to see what different committees are up to and join them if you're interested. We'll also have our stellar tech team, laptops in hand, to show you how to log into ClubRunner on both your computer and your phone app, and our Facebook page. The club really reaps the benefits of your shopping! So if you haven't got your King Soopers & Safeway cards yet, we'll show you how! And Amazon? I mean, com'on, we're all shopping on it weekly! The club NEEDS those kickbacks! So stop by to see how easy it is to set up your smile.amazon.com
account and a portion of everything you buy will build up the coffers! Think of it this way, it's money we don't have to cough up for projects! So join the "in club" and be in the know on what's happenin' at Rotary!"
