Members of the Military Committee make quarterly welfare check-in calls to the combat wounded Veterans of the Warrior Bonfire Program. We have a need for two more volunteers to help make these vital calls. If you are interested and would like to learn more, please contact Mike Foss at 303.956.8473 or foss@warriorbonfireprogram.org
The meetings on Jan 27th and Feb 3rd we will be collecting specific items for IFCS: diapers, Depends, toilet paper, and feminine hygiene products.
Jane placed papers on all the tables describing what may be needed when you consider giving (i.e., IFCS or fire victims); for example, you can't eat canned veggies/soup without a can opener or cereal without boxed milk.
Page 39 of this month's Rotary Magazine features James Simmermon and his life in Rotary.
As we move forward Bob is asking for "Rare and Unusual Auction Item Donations". This could be a piece of art, a signed athletic piece, anything rare and unusual. COULD BE THAT WHITE ELEPHANT GIFT?
Please contact Bob prior to the meeting.
