LAST WEEK: Kathleen Pierz, ShelterBox
Sue introduced Kathleen from the Brighton Rotary Club. Kathleen presented us with the "Hero Award" as the largest donor club in the region and country. We understand service above self!
ShelterBox is a global nonprofit organization made up of people who believe that shelter is a basic human right. They started as a small organization in the UK and have grown into a global organization, operating efficiently by going directly into the areas that need help and hand-delivering the aid to the families in need. Kathleen and ShelterBox will be at Bright Futures. www.shelterboxusa.org
Thank you Mary Kay for our first Rotary Minute
Bob auctioned off a new item this week, Tamie's floral arrangement (damn that woman has many talents!). Jerry Wilford bought the flowers and presented them to Kari, our esteemed web master!
