Peach and Pear Sale Frequently Asked Questions

Why are you not offering pears as part of the 2026 sale?

Unfortunately, our orchard lost their 2026 pear crop due to weather. We hope to offer them again in the future.

Why does the online store/ordering process look different than previous years?

Beginning in 2026, we changed our online ordering platform to RallyUp. This new online store offers a more modern, streamlined user interface, the ability to process additional forms of payment, and is less prone to technical difficulties as we've experienced in the past.

What is the difference between the Rotary Peach Sale web page and the RallyUp website, and how are they related?

The Rotary Peach Sale web page is part of our overall Rotary Club of Highlands Ranch website, and is the main communication hub for everything Peach Sale related (including partner listings, recipes, links to the event calendar, etc.). The RallyUp website (which is accessed through the “Order Now” buttons) conducts the actual ordering and payment processing for us.

I see both "Highlands Ranch Rotary Foundation, Inc." and “Rotary Club of Highlands Ranch” mentioned on the website and in email communication; what is the difference?

The Highlands Ranch Rotary Foundation is a 501(c)(3) private foundation which raises and distributes funds for charitable, civic, cultural, and educational purposes, managed by the Rotary Club of Highlands Ranch. Since the RallyUp online store is the fundraising platform for our Annual Peach Sale, it is directly linked to the Highlands Ranch Rotary Foundation account.

Why are there so many different “Order Now” buttons and links?

We have multiple different methods for connecting to our online store for placing your peach order, including buttons, widgets, and hyperlinks; they all take you to the same place!

Why is the delivery date so early this year as compared with previous years? Will the fruit be ripe enough?

In 2026 Palisade, Colorado has experienced an unseasonably warm late winter and record spring heat, which caused the peach trees to bloom two weeks ahead of schedule. We have modified our delivery day accordingly.

Are these truly “Palisade” peaches?

Yes, we partner with a family-owned orchard in Palisade, Colorado, nestled below the Grand Mesa.

Are your peaches organic?

No, the orchard we partner with is a family-owned and operated business that offers tree-ripened Palisade peaches, but they are not organic.

How many peaches are there in a box, on average?

Large box of peaches: 33 to 36

Small box of peaches: 16 to 18

I can't consume an entire box all by myself without it going bad; what are my options?

Reference our “Caring for Peaches & Pears” flyer, which describes ways of keeping them fresher, longer.

We also have a “Quick and Easy Peach Freezing Method” to freeze your fruit for long term storage.

Check out our list of Recipes for creative ideas on how to use up your fruit.

Feel free to share your fruit directly with family, neighbors, and friends. Remember to mention where you got them!

What types of payments are accepted?

Our new online ordering process allows credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Simply add the number of boxes you wish to purchase to the cart, and when you are ready to check out it will ask you which payment method you prefer.

Will I be charged any additional taxes or fees at checkout?

No, the prices shown are all-inclusive of any payment processing fees, and we do not charge sales tax. What you see is what you pay!

Is there a way to edit my order once it's submitted?

No, once an order is placed online there is no way to modify it yourself. If you wish to purchase additional boxes of fruit, you may place an additional order and we will combine them for you on pickup day. If you need to make any other types of adjustments, please contact us directly at HRRotaryPeachSales@gmail.com, or call Bill Leeper at 720-480-6505.

Can we get our fruit delivered directly to us; why do we have to pick them up in person?

Due to agricultural laws neither we (Rotary Club of Highlands Ranch) nor our orchard are allowed to ship directly to customers.

Do I need to show my order confirmation or receipt in order to pick up my order?

No, as long as you provide us your name (and contact information in case there are duplicates) we will find your order in our system.

What if I can't pick up my order on delivery day? Can someone else pick it up for me?

Yes, you can have someone else pick up your order; just make sure they reference your name (the name originally used to place the order).

I missed the ordering window; is it too late to get a box ordered?

We close the ordering window in advance to allow time for the orchard to harvest, pack, and deliver the pallets of fruit to us on delivery day. Although it may be too late to place an order online, we do offer a few extra boxes available for drop-ins on a first come-first serve basis the day of delivery (but there is no guarantee how long they will last). For best results, send us your name and contact information so we can add you to our mailing list and be kept in the loop for future sales.
