THIS WEEK

DON'T MISS THE WHITE ELEPHANT THURSDAY!

Our annual white elephant gift exchange is this Thursday and  there will be fantastic gifts galore!  You know the drill - bring a gift, get a gift.  We guarantee they'll all be fabulous.  Remember last year, there was an African mask, a potty putting station, Christmas cookie decorating set, just to name a few.

It's a great way to re-gift something that doesn't quite live up to your standards or a way to help you clean out that basement!  And remember, the better it is, the more often it will show up at the next year's event!

AND we'll hear new member Nancy Arkin's classification talk before we begin the festivities!

GREETER SCHEDULE:

December 28: Bill Simmermon & Carolyn Bradish

January 4: Scott Campbell & Debby Doig

THE HASZ CHALLENGE!

Mary Kay & Earl Hasz are big believers in the Rotary International Foundation.  So big that they're putting their money where their mouth is, to the tune of $5000!  They will match any donation made by a club member of $200 and up until the 5K is spent.  This is a great way to maximize your donation.  There is no time limit, but be sure to take the tax break this year.

One of the things they like about RI is that a whopping 98% of your donation goes directly to the project.  So you know that your donation isn't going to frivolous spending or overhead, but is used in the most fiscally responsible way possible.

A BIG THANK YOU TO MARY KAY & EARL!

ROTARY READERS

The Rotary Readers team is working on the schedule for the rest of the school year.  Here, Steve Miller is impressing Mrs. Pepper's class with the importance of reading!  Be sure to sign up on the clipboards!
