Host Families Needed - Up With People Jan. 4 - Feb. 18 (12/7 email from Beverly Mendel)
Up with People is returning to Denver and is searching for people that are willing to open their homes to host one or more of their international cast members. Hosting opportunities are from January 4 through February 18. There is also the option to host for just the first two week or last two weeks. It is a convenient and fun way to learn about different cultures without leaving your own home - all you do is provide the young person(s) with a place to sleep, breakfast and dinner, transportation in the mornings around 8 am and in the evenings around 6 pm most days. We will be offering a regional shuttle service to transport students to and from daily activities. Tentative shuttle stops for this upcoming Staging include Arvada, Boulder, Broomfield, Longmont, Thornton, downtown Denver, Aurora, Parker, and Highlands Ranch. The cast is beginning their world tour here in Denver; they will spend most days learning their new show, learning how to spread the mission of Up with People, and getting to know their fellow cast members!
If someone you know is interested in hosting an international participant or would like more information please contact Misa Grenier at 608-606-9694 or email mgrenier@upwithpeople.org with your name, phone and email. http://www.upwithpeople.org/
