Our guest speaker Kendal Kneteman from LingoHut was very dynamic speaker and covered a lot of “language” in a short time.  LingoHut is a free online language learning platform and was inspired by helping refugees speak the local language of the county of which they are displaced.  They currently teach 12 languages to over 50 origin languages helping a wide scope of immigrants throughout the globe.   One evening at 13 her Dad came to her and said pack your bags quickly “Bird” (her nickname) you gotta fly.  She boarded a plane the next day not to return to Nicaragua until well into her adulthood. 

Our student was Josh Jones, senior from Highlands Ranch High School, is involved with Varsity Football, Track and Student Senate. He anticipates becoming an Environmental Engineer.
